Electronic music is one of the most experimental genres that has come forward in recent times.
The term refers to any music created using electronic equipment; synthesisers, drum machines, computers and samplers are often used. The BPM at which the tracks are usually set at often classifies it as dance, however this is not always the case.
Electronic & dance music suffers from a great deal of criticism due to its 'ease' of production, however as with all music it takes a great deal of raw talent to create a good track!
Other genres, including rock, are also beginning to use electronic methods along with traditional methods.
