Two original members of Epic (Chris Howard & Owen Martin) formed various new acts trying to find the spark that Epic held. It took three years for that spark to appear and Sonic Ep was born. Sonic Ep were regarded as “probably the most talented & original band in Berkshire” (Simon Griffiths - Days of Worth). Gigs include supporting Mohair, Days of Worth, Hundred Reasons, InMe and many other top class local acts. Juggling university and gigs was always a problem however. Totalling 29 gigs in 18 months and having an average crowd support of over 100, Sonic Ep were waiting for that opportunity to give up university and start a real music career.

Unfortunately, Sonic EP split and the spark that went with it started to dissolve. However, September 2004 saw the birth of Lanky Music. Fronted by Chris Howard, Lanky Music was originally a project to create a production portfolio for Chris to become a studio producer in and around London. Chris had written/ recorded/ produced and performed all his own demos and thought it such a waste not to perform these tracks live. So, teaming up with Owen Martin & Alex Sinclair once again, the Lanky Music brand has now become a bright spark in Berkshire’s music history currently under the name Chris Howard

Currently un-gigged on a large stage, Chris Howard is raring to go and with so much talent & experience behind the team, you can be guaranteed of an amazing performance!
